Code of Conduct

Event: Mobile Developers Week 2026Last Updated: April 2026

#1. Purpose

Mobile Developers Week (MDW) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free, inclusive experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or technical experience. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form.

#2. Expected Behavior

  • check_circleBe mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants.
  • check_circleAlert event organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
  • check_circleParticipate in an authentic and active way, contributing to the health and longevity of this community.

#3. Unacceptable Behavior

  • check_circleIntimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct.
  • check_circleOffensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability.
  • check_circleInappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces or presentations.
  • check_circleDeliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • check_circleHarassing photography or recording.
  • check_circleSustained disruption of talks or other events.
  • check_circleUnwelcome sexual attention.
  • check_circleAdvocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.

#4. Consequences

Unacceptable behavior from any attendee, including sponsors, speakers, volunteers, organizers, and staff, will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If an attendee engages in unacceptable behavior, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the event without warning or refund.

#5. Reporting

If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify an event organizer as soon as possible. You can identify organizers by their staff badges. You may also report incidents via email at [email protected]. All reports will be handled with discretion.

#6. Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all event venues, including official and unofficial social events, as well as online spaces such as social media channels and community forums associated with MDW. It applies to all participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers.
