About the Conference

More Than a Conference.
A Global Movement.

Droidcon started in Berlin in 2009 as a small gathering of Android enthusiasts. Today it runs in over 20 cities across six continents. The Abu Dhabi edition is the flagship event for the MENA region, drawing developers from the Gulf, North Africa, South Asia, and beyond.

This is not a vendor pitch fest. Every talk is selected by a community review board. Every speaker has shipped production code. The sessions go deep: architecture decisions at scale, performance optimization techniques, and the real tradeoffs behind choosing Compose over Views, KMP over native, or Flutter over everything.
